Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that US President Donald Trump is talking about the Pakistan-Indian war, the “injuries of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are reopened”.
“US President Donald Trump said on several occasions that we had arrested the war. When the American president said we arrested the Pakistani-Indian war, Modi’s injuries are reopened,” he said while inaugurating Pak Business Express and modernizing the Passenger Installations of Lahore.
During his speech, Prime Minister Shehbaz also paid tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their resilience in the four -day conflict with India, which he described as “short but very dangerous”. He praised the technical superiority of the army, the internal innovations of the Air Force and the use by the army of the missiles of Al Fatah.
“India thought that Pakistan could only count on nuclear deterrence, but the supremacy of conventional war has shattered this myth,” he said, reaffirming his commitment to the security of the nation. He added that our nuclear assets are guarantors of national security, and the enemy does not dare to look at us with a bad eye.

Speaking during the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed his satisfaction with regard to the visible transformation of the station. “From a warm welcome to well-high receptionists, renovated CIP salons, waiting rooms for improved passengers and a fully renovated train with modern European-style meals and berths, the change is really rewarding,” he said.
The PM praised the digitization of the ticket system, the introduction of Wi-Fi installations and the outsourcing of services to improve efficiency and professionalism. “These services are intended for the common masses, not only a privileged class. This is a step towards the transformation of the railways into a transport system the best of its category for passengers and freight freight,” he added.
Prime Minister Shehbaz congratulated the Minister of Railways Hanif Abbasi, the railway secretary, and the president of their efforts, while also recognizing the previous contributions of the former Minister Saad Raique, highlighting his “16 months of dedicated service” in the department of railways.
He also underlined the need for punctuality and transparent externalization of land and rail services, aimed at transforming these assets into profitable companies for the nation. He also stressed the importance of continuing the transformation of Pakistani railways across the country, from Peshawar to Karachi, Rohri and Quetta.

“The all-powerful guide and supports all sincere efforts. This is only the first step; we must fight against dedication and transparency to serve the inhabitants of Pakistan,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz.
The Prime Minister concluded the ceremony with a commitment to transform the Pakistani railways into a modern, transparent and centered institution. “Together, we can make railways a real engine of progress for Pakistan,” he said.
The Minister of Railways Hanif Abbasi thanked the PM for his vision and his direction. He credited it to have supported the digitization, outsourcing of services and the introduction of a payment system without cash in stations.
He also revealed that the railways had won 93 billion rupees, installed mechanical stairs for differently and improved tooth passengers and punctuality between stations.
The newly launched Pak Business Express will move between Lahore and Karachi in 18 hours and 30 minutes, with an economical class rate of 5,100 rupees.
