Trump says he arrested the war of India-Pakistan after India says no American mediation

US President Donald Trump insisted on Wednesday that he arrested war between India and Pakistan, a few hours after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told him that the ceasefire after a four-day conflict in May was made by talks between neighbors, not American mediation.

“Well, I stopped a war … I love Pakistan. I think Modi is a fantastic man. I spoke to him last night. We are going to conclude a trade agreement with Modi of India. But I stopped war between Pakistan and India. This man was extremely influential to go – and they were both nuclear countries. I stopped,” I added.

Pakistan led the Bunyanum Marsoos operation in response to the vile attacks of the Indian army that started in the night of May 6 and 7, leading to the loss of innocent civil life, including women, children and the elderly.
