There were questions about the question of whether the champion of the Super Bowl Philadelphia Eagles would visit the White House to celebrate their title.
President Donald Trump told the spectator on Friday that Eagles will actually visit the White House.
“They come here. Philadelphia comes here,” said Trump.
After the Eagles won their first Super Bowl in Trump’s first term in 2018, the team refused Trump’s invitation to the White House.

Trump announced Tuesday that he would extend an invitation.
“They will be [invited]. We haven’t done it yet, but we’ll be, “said Trump.” I thought it was a great performance by them. Absolutely, they will be extended an invitation. We will do it right away. We will do it a little time today. They deserve to be here, and we hope to see them. “”

The day after the Super Bowl, the veteran offensive line player Lane Johnson said it would be a “team decision” to visit the White House. Johnson was part of the 2018 Super Bowl team who made Trump canceled by Trump after some players refused to visit the White House due to Trump’s criticism towards those who kneel or lifted fists during the national anthem to protest against racial injustice and police brutality.
Trump published a statement at the time on the cancellation of his invitation, saying that “the 1,000 fans who plan to attend the event deserve better”.

“They do not agree with their president because he insists that they proudly represent the national anthem, the hand in the soul, in honor of the great men and women of our soldiers and the inhabitants of our country,” said Trump’s declaration seven years ago.
