Trump set to authorize export of Nvidia H200 chips to China

President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States will resume supporting some chip exports to China and other affected countries, particularly Nvidia’s H200 chips.

Exports will only be permitted to approved commercial customers, under conditions deemed to protect the national security of the United States. The US government also wants to levy a 25% tax on H200 exports.
