Trump signs an executive order to train the working group at the Los Angeles Olympic Games

President Donald Trump signed an executive decree on Tuesday which created a working group from the White House Olympic Games for safety purposes and other problems before the 2028 games in Los Angeles.

“America is a nation of champions, and in 2028, we will show the world what America does the best, and it is victory …”, said Trump during his presser. “The Los Angeles Olympic Games promise to be a wonderful moment for America … It’s time to be a sports fan in America.”

The working group includes vice-president JD Vance, the attorney general Pam Bondi, the interior security secretary Kristi Noem, the president of the FCC, Brendan Carr, the chief of staff of the White House Susie Wiles, and the deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, among others.

One of the main priorities of the working group will be to coordinate the local federal, state and state work on transport. They will “also rationalize visa treatment and accreditation for foreign athletes, coaches, officials and the media,” said Reuters.

“We will do everything necessary to ensure the safety of the Olympic Games, including using our National Guard or our soldier,” said Trump, throwing the shadow on “not very competent” the mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass. “It will be so sure – if we owe it.”

Earlier this week, the president and president of La28, Casey Wasserman, said that the working group “marks an important step forward in our planning efforts and reflects our common commitment to provide not only the biggest, but the biggest games that the world has ever seen in the summer of 2028.”

“On behalf of La28, I want to express our deep appreciation to President Trump and his administration for their leadership and unwavering support while we are preparing to deliver the most important and most ambitious Olympic and Paralympic Games ever organized in the United States,” said Wasserman in his own declaration. “Since we obtained this historic opportunity in 2017, President Trump has always recognized the magnitude of our responsibility by welcoming the world to Los Angeles. The creation of this working group marks an important step in our planning efforts and reflects our common commitment to deliver not only the biggest, but the biggest games that the world has ever seen in the summer of 2028.”

Before the Olympic Games, the United States will be a host site for the FIFA World CupSomething that Trump expressed a lot of fun welcoming in 2026. Trump appeared in the FIFA World Cup final last month at Metlife Stadium.

Los Angeles was a host site for two Olympic Games in 1932 and 1984.
