President Donald Trump will sign on Friday an executive decree establishing a White House working group for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Who will be organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico, a White House official told PK Press Club Digital.
Trump will serve As president of the working group, while Vice-President JD Vance will serve as vice-president, the official confirmed. An executive director, who has not been appointed, will manage and supervise daily operations.

The working group’s goal will be to supervise the tournament preparations and include Trump’s office and the main government agencies. According to the manager, the working group will also work with federal agencies in the planning, organization and execution of the World Cup.

The international tournament, covering North America, will start in June 2026 and is the first World Cup in more than two decades which will take place in several countries.
