Each year, the owners of the NFL vote on potential rules before the next season, and a particular proposal has aroused a generalized debate.
Green Bay’s packers have submitted a proposal to ban the famous “Tash Push” game from the Philadelphia Eagles, where the quarterrière Jalen Hurts is advanced in short-term situations, in particular on the goal line for a touchdown.
Although there is a great debate on the question of whether the game should stay in the game or not, President Donald Trump showed what side of the closure he is during the team’s white house celebration for his Super Bowl Lix victory on Monday afternoon.

Discussing this 40-22 victory on the Chiefs of Kansas City, for which Trump was present in New Orleans, he mentioned that their first hit marked, which was injured in the goals to take the lead.

The owners of the NFL should continue to discuss a potential ban on the play after having won it until the next meetings of the owners from May 20 to 21 in Minnesota.
Packers had 16 teams supporting their proposal, but a minimum of 24 owners must approve the change to pass.
The change of rule specifically indicates a ban by an offensive player having the ability to immediately push his teammate who is aligned directly behind the Vivaneau and receives the Snap.

The NFL generally does not approve of the rules that target a specific team, which that seems to do. Although it is a legal game, the Eagles have taken greatly in the past three seasons. Only the Buffalo Bills got closer to the success of the Eagles, after having used their own version a considerable amount with the quarter of the league Josh Allen, last season.
Trump, however, wants the league to come back to something they have changed during the 2024 season: kicks.
“I would like to see something,” he said. “I would like to go back to regular kick -off, however. We do not like this kick -off where nobody moves. The ball is in the air and nobody moves.”
The owners of the NFL have changed the start -up structure for the 2025 season, because the touchbacks will be marked on the 35 yards line, a movement that should increase the return rates.

But Trump will not be happy to see that players will still not run in the field as they did. They must wait until the ball touches the ground or the return man comes into contact with the ball.
Trump, the Eagles and all the others who love the NFL will wait patiently to see if Tash’s push will remain in the game.
