The legend of university football coach Lou Holtz congratulated President Donald Trump and vice-president JD Vance on Saturday following an argument with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Holtz congratulated the management of Trump and Vance in an article on X.

“These are moments like these that remind us what the real leadership looks like,” he wrote. “Proud of @realdonaldtrump & @jdvance to have always put America first.”
Friday, Zelenskyy’s first meeting with Trump and Vance at the White House led to an argument. Vance has told the Ukrainian leader that a way to peace security between Russia and Ukraine would be by the United States that engages in diplomacy. Zelenskyy then tried to engage in a line of questions about the movements of Russia since 2014 and attempts at diplomacy.
Zelenskyy later said that under war, “everyone has problems, even you” and that the United States would feel war “in the future”. Trump said Zelenskyy didn’t know “for sure it would happen. The conversation has become more intense from there.

Trump told Zelenskyy that he “played with the lives of millions of people”.
“You are playing with the Second World War. You play with the Second World War, and what you are doing is very disrespectful towards the country – this country – which supported you a lot than many people said they should have,” said Trump.
Zelenskyy appeared in the “special report” of PK Press Club Channel. He said he was not sure that “we did something wrong”. He said the incident with “bad for both sides”.
Holtz was not the only sports figure to weigh.
The legend of the NFL, Brett Favre, also gave his reaction on the question.

“It was a bit unreal to look at. A foreign leader addressed to an American president in place like this,” wrote Favre in response to a clip of the argument. “Pleasure Donald Trump and JD Vance defend America.”
