Trump wants the PGA and the liv to be made `to merge ”

PGA commissioner Jay Monahan recently nicknamed Trump the “facilitator” of current discussions between the two golf visits – but almost two years since the announcement of the bomb was concluded from a potential agreement, there is not yet.

Trump gave his position on what he hopes will be on the way to southern Florida.

“In the end, I hope the two tours will merge. It will be good. I am involved in this too,” said Trump. “But I hope we are going to merge the two tours. You have the PGA Tour and the Liv Tour. And I think it would merge would be a good thing.”

Trump called Liv Golfers – a list that includes Brooks Koepka, Bryson Dechambeau, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and others – “Some of the best players in the world”.

In February, the PGA Tour credited Trump for “[getting] Involved for the good of the game, “and it seems that there has been movement since he got involved.

“These discussions are real. They are substantial and are motivated at the highest levels of the two organizations. These talks have been considerably strengthened by the will of President Trump to serve as a facilitator,” said Monahan last month. “President Trump is a golf fan for life. He firmly believes in the power and potential of the game, and he was extremely generous in his time and his influence to help conclude an agreement. He wants to see the game in reunification. We want to see the game together and his involvement has made the prospect of the reunification very real.”

Monahan added: “We believe that there is room to integrate important aspects of LIV golf in the PGA Tour platform”, and said that he could imagine “a future” in which the governor of the public investment fund Yasir al-Rumayyan could join the board of directors of the tour.

“We do everything we can to bring both parties together.

Trump last month expressed the optimism that the two parties will get some Type of transaction concluded.

“They will have to meet,” he said. “They had a lot of discussion in both directions. They are both good, and an agreement will finally happen. I think it will happen fairly quickly. It would be good to see the best golfers playing against each other.”

“These are all great people and they want to work,” added Trump. “So, if I can help resolve it … I don’t get anything out of it. I can help them solve it. I just think golf – it’s an individual sport, and you want to see the best players play against each other and not play in two different places.”

Trump lessons have hosted several Liv events since its creation, organizing the last PGA event in the mid -2010s.
