There were rumors floating shortly after the birds won the Super Bowl that they would not attend the White House to celebrate the victory, but they were Nixées.
President Donald Trump has extended the invitation and the team will go to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. April 28.

Trump said the Eagles “deserve” to be in the White House as champions – they prevented the Kansas City chiefs from becoming the first three -event team in the history of the Super Bowl with a 40-22 beat.
Trump canceled his invitation to the Super Bowl LII team in 2018 after some players refused to visit the White House due to Trump’s criticism towards those who kneel or lifted his fists during the national anthem to protest against racial injustice and police brutality.
But this year’s team is different, and the head coach of Eagles, Nick Sirianni, is looking forward to the opportunity.

Trump, present for the game, predicted that the chefs would make history, but the Eagles have taken an early advance and never looked back.
