Quetta:
The armed men removed the assistant commissioner of Tump Hanif Noorzai on Wednesday morning near TIGRANABAD while he was traveling with his family in Quetta, according to local sources.
Eyewitness said that between six and eight armed people stopped his official vehicle, took him under the threat of a weapon and run away with the car. His wife, driver and official shooter have been left on the site and remain unscathed.
After the incident, the security forces launched a large -scale research operation in the region. The verification of the SNAPs began along Zubaida Jalal Road and the nearby roads, while efforts based on intelligence are used to follow the kidnappers.
The removal of a senior government official has raised concerns about the safety of officials in Balutchistan, especially in the Makran region.
The authorities have not yet identified the officials and no group has claimed responsibility to date.
The efforts to locate and safely recover the assistant commissioner Noorzai are underway.
