Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Pakistan this week, according to Turkish officials.
Turkish communications director Fahrettin Altun said on X (formerly Twitter) that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would visit Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan this week.
Fahrettin Altun said that President Erdogan would visit these countries from February 10 to 13.
During the visit, President Erdogan will discuss all aspects of bilateral relations and will explore the possibilities of improving cooperation through key projects.
The Turkish official added that after visiting Malaysia, Erdogan will co -reside the meetings of the high -level strategic cooperation council in Indonesia and Pakistan.
Fahrettin Altun mentioned that agreements should be signed to strengthen the legal framework for bilateral relations, and President Erdogan will also meet business leaders in host countries.
Particular attention will be paid to Gaza, and regional and global problems will also be discussed during the visit.
Earlier, President Asif Ali Zardari met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a brief stopover in Istanbul de Turkiye, while on the way to Portugal.
The meeting took place at the Istanbul airport state -of -the -art guest house before President Erdogan left for Malaysia.
Zardari, who was preparing to leave Türkiye, met the Turkish chief before a planned press conference.
According to a statement published by the president’s press wing in Islamabad, President Zardari was warmly welcomed by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan when he arrived. The two leaders exchanged jokes before engaging in a productive discussion on various questions of mutual interest.
