Two explosions occurred near a police check post in Hangu, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Police Operations Commissioner Asad Zubair and two police officers were killed in the blast, police confirmed.

According to sources, the first blast took place near the check post, and as late SP Asad Zubair was heading towards the spot, a second blast occurred.
