Rawalpindi:
Two other people who would have been involved in the creation of inappropriate videos of patients at Kahuta Thq Hospital have been identified and are currently under investigation by the Inquiry Committee of the District Health Authority.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had previously arrested Shakil, radiology machinist, and Zainul Abideen, a servant of the parish at the head office of Tehsil (THQ) Kahuta, to harass patients and record illicit videos.
Shakil is also accused of singing women using the images. The arrests, processes on July 9, 2025, followed a complaint which led to the filing of a FIR under the 2016 PECA law, marking an important violation of medical ethics and public confidence.
The CEO of Kahuta Health Authority, Dr Aif Arbab Khan Niazi, in a declaration to the application on Thursday, revealed that the problem dates back to 2022, when Shakil was warned and monitored by male and female officials under the supervision of Dr. Zaheer. Despite an previous investigation and punishment, Shakil did not reform his behavior.
“Recently, a complaint with the videos was subjected to the FIA, leading to the arrest of Shakil and another person. We suspended them, launched a new investigation and suspended two other staff who knew the videos but who did not report.
“We have expanded the investigation and two other employees are under investigation for not having informed the management of the hospital despite their knowledge of illicit activities,” he added. “The health authority will not tolerate any malicious act by hospital staff.”
The initial investigation into allegations confirmed that Shakil had acted inappropriately with a patient in the X -ray room, while Zain recorded the incident.
An inquiry committee for three members was trained by the DHA.
