Islamabad:
Two Pakistanis were murdered in the Iranian province of Sistan.
According to the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iranian officials confirmed the murder of two Pakistani nationals – Mujahid and Muhammad Fahim.
FO spokesperson said Pakistan’s Embassy in Tehran and the Consulate in Zahidan was in contact with Iranian officials to obtain details on the incident. The families of individuals killed will be updated accordingly.
According to the FO, Iranian officials cooperate with Pakistan diplomatic staff while efforts are made to repatriate Pakistan organizations after the end of legal and administrative formalities.
