Di Khan:
The security forces neutralized two terrorists on Saturday, including a Commander of Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during an intelligence operation (IBO) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) district tank. The TTP operator was identified as Commander Hanzala.
During the IBO, the forces also gathered an injured terrorist, who revealed vital details on the terrorist network operating in the tank – his hiding places and the agents – by putting a research operation. The authorities have strengthened security in the district and established stakes at the district entry and exit points.
In addition, the authorities have foiled a terrorist attempt to attack a police station in the Gambella region in the Lakki district. About 10 to 12 terrorists had taken a stand in an area surrounding the Gambella police station in the short hours on Saturday. However, due to the rapid police response, the terrorist had to flee.
However, the terrorists managed to explode an improvised remote -controlled explosive device (IED) in the Nalai Sorbat region of Khar Tehsil in the Bajuar District. A resident in the region, Subhan Ullah, son of Fazl Subhan, suffered minor injuries following the explosion.
The injured person was immediately taken to the Khar district headquarters hospital. The authorities then completed the explosion site and began the investigation.
Meanwhile, Rakhmeen Khan, an assistant police superintendent (DSP), who was injured in a terrorist attack in northern Waziristan this month succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
Rakhmeen had been seriously injured in an attack in the jurisdiction of the Tullay Khula police station in southern Waziristan on July 4 and was followed at Mission Peshawar Hospital.
His funeral prayer was offered with the honors of the full state to the police lines of Malik Saad Shaheed.
The funeral attended a large number of police and staff, including the Inspector General of the Police of the Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed, the CCPO Qasim Ali Khan, the SSP Masood Ahmad operations, the SSP Noor Jamal SPA and the head of the head of SP Ali Gohar, as well as the members of the Martyr family.
IGP Hameed and CCPO Khan placed floral crowns on the martyr coffin and prayed for the elevation of its rank in the beyond. The IGP offered condolences to the bereaved family and paid tribute to the courage and the sense of duty shown by the late DSP Rukhmeen Khan.
