The security forces targeted a group of terrorists during an intelligence operation in Kolpur, in the Kachhi district, Balutchistan, the media wing reported on Friday.
The operation, launched on the basis of the reports of the presence of terrorists affiliated with the proxy group supported by India Fitna Al Hindustan, was confirmed by inter-service public relations (ISPR).
The security forces quickly initiated the location of the terrorists, which led to a fierce shooting exchange. The operation led to the neutralization of two terrorists, who were confirmed as sponsored by India, said the ISPR.
In addition to eliminating terrorists, the security forces have recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition. These people were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities orchestrated by India in the region, added the press release.
The operation continues with the current disinfection efforts to eliminate remaining threats in the region. The ISPR has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eliminate terrorism sponsored by the Indians and to translate the perpetrators into court.
