A couple of young players experienced but of the NFL recently made their shocking retirement ads.

New York Jets Running Back, Zach Evans, 24, and the offensive goalkeeper of the commanders of Washington, Nate Herbig, 27, each decided to call this this week. The decisions come shortly before the NFL opens the pre-season 2025 with the match of the renowned temple on Thursday in Canton, Ohio.

Evans revealed his retirement plans on Monday. He was transferred to the New York reserve / retired list.

Evans finished his only season in Ole Miss in 2022 with 936 yards on the ground and nine affected. Its 6.5 medium yards have led the SEC praised this season.

One day after Evans announced his retirement plans, Herbig announced that he would move away from the League.

Herbig was not drafted in 2019. He finally spent the first three years of his professional football career with the Eagles of Philadelphia. He also had a one -year -old passage with the jets and a two -year race with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Herbig signed with commanders earlier during the offseason and is credited with 30 career starts.

The training camps opened through the NFL last week. The Lions of Detroit and Los Angeles Loaders will meet Thursday in Canton, Ohio, to officially launch the pre-season.
