UCLA’s softball stop, Maya Brady is committed to playing in the new Softball League of Athletes Unlimited (AUSL), Espn reported.
The addition of a Brady’s Caliber and Star Power player should give a boost to the Upstart League which will lead its inaugural draft this week.
The 23 -year -old is the niece of the seven times winner of the Super Bowl and current analyst of Fox Sports NFL, Tom Brady.

The left Bruin UCLA also plays in the outside field and has received All-American honors twice at the first team. Brady was also appointed player of the year PAC-12 and was the first year of the year of Softball America in 2020.
The UCLA has long boasted one of the country’s best softball programs, and Brady ranks second on the school list of school.

The former managing director of Miami Marlins, Kim Ng, is the spearhead of Ausl and was appointed principal advisor last year. NG said the League would be “Major League Baseball for softball”.
The League will featured four teams playing 30 games in six to eight cities in its first season.
Bandits, Blaze, Volts and heels will be the four original teams in the League.

“Softball is ready for a great professional growth, and the AUSL meets the time by creating the world’s world -class softball league that this sport has deserved for so long,” said NG.
“The caliber of players in the running to be drafted tomorrow – the Olympians, the veterans of the American team, the All -Americans and the Champions of the NCAA – also illustrates that the best players in the world are here together as Unit of founding members who will make Ausl the next great thing in female sports.

Brady struck 71 circuits with 246 points produced in 249 games at the UCLA.
Last summer, two softball leagues with four different teams organized matches, female professional Fastpitch and association of Fastpitch professionals.
