The UEFA Europa League, the largest football body in Europe, would occur towards a vote to suspend Israel during the war in Gaza, according to the Associated Press.
The majority of the executive committee of 20 UEFA members should support any vote in favor of the suspension of the Israeli teams of the international piece, according to the point of sale. This would prevent the Israeli national team and club teams from playing international competitions, including the World Cup next year.
A spokesperson for the Israel Football Federation (IFA) told PK Press Club Digital that the organization had “no indication” that it was facing the vote.

“I do not know what sources history is based in addition to late publications. We have no indication that we are faced with such an act. We focus on our international matches against Norway and Italy. This is, to tell the truth, very difficult,” said the spokesperson.
A spokesperson for the State Department declared to the AP that he will work to arrest all the efforts that have tried to ban the Israel team from the World Cup.
The Minister of Sports and Culture of Israel, Miki Zohar, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of the Israeli football federation, Moshe Zuares, worked “intensely behind the scenes” to block the efforts to oust IUFA Israel, said the Zohar office on Thursday. “The right step is now to act responsible with professionals and not to make declarations, and this is how all the parties involved in the efforts work. We will approach it later.”
The Israeli male team should currently resume its qualification campaign in the World Cup in two weeks with outside matches against Norway and Italy.
Last year, the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) proposed a suspension for Israel during the war in Gaza. The PFA proposal to 211 member federations called for “appropriate sanctions, with immediate effect, against Israeli teams”, according to FIFA documents published this year.

The PFA proposal was sufficient to convince FIFA to seek independent legal advice and to hold a meeting of the historic council to decide to suspend Israel in international football due to the conflict with Hamas. FIFA did not suspend Israel, but launched an independent investigation into alleged discrimination.
Then, earlier this week, seven independent experts working with the United Nations Human Rights Council urged FIFA and UEFA to suspend Israel of international competitions.

UEFA and its president, Aleksander Ceferin, reported a more difficult opinion on Israel last month when banners saying “stop killing children. Stop killing civilians” were placed on the field in front of the Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham teams before the Super Cup match in Udine, Italy.
