The legend of the UFC, Khabib Nurmagomedov, raised the eyebrows during the weekend when he refused to shake hands with the sports broadcaster of CBS Kate Scott during the cover of the UEFA Champions League.
Nurmagomedov was among the people on site to watch Paris Saint-Germain Tournce Inter Milan to win the UEFA Champions League. It was the first time in the history of the club. He also comes to the wake of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi leaving the club in recent years.

UFC veteran, which is a Muslim, shakes hands with Streater Ishowspeed, Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Thierry Henry. As Scott held out his hand, Nurmagomedov kept his hand on his chest.
“I apologize, thank you very much,” said Scott removing her hand and putting her towards her chest.
It is likely that Nurmagomedov followed his religious beliefs by shaking Scott’s hand. The UFC Invainu fighter is a devotee follower of Islam. Religion asks men not to shake the hand of a woman with whom they are not married.

Scott married Malik Scott in 2024.
Nurmagomedov was one of the best fighters that the UFC has seen for a long time. He was the first Muslim fighter to win a UFC championship. He retired from sport after a submission victory against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in 2020.
He had 29-0 in his career.
