UFC News: Conor McGregor teases an “important meeting” in Washington

Fighter UFC Conor McGregor He seemed to go to Washington, DC, early Monday for what he called “the most important meeting” concerning “the future” of Ireland.

The meeting falls on Saint-Patrick day and comes a week after the Irish fighter was completed by President Donald Trump During a visit to the Oval Office by the Irish Prime Minister.

McGregor, 36, shared the cryptic post on his social media early Monday morning by announcing his imminent arrival in Washington.

“I am shortly shot in Washington for the most important meeting in my country [sic] future. I am beyond employment, “his article on X Read.

“The world will hear the Ireland calling.”

McGregor did not say if he met the president or he made an appearance in the White House. His post, however, included the flag of Ireland and the United States.

Last week during an official visit with Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Trump talked a lot about the decorated UFC fighter.

“I arrive at your fighter. He has the best tattoos I have ever seen … Conor is great,” Trump told journalists from the Oval Office.

“Ireland has always had a lot of good fighters. You know why? Because they are hard people, they are intelligent people and they are passionate people.”

The nature of McGregor remained a mystery on Monday, but he already talked about his desire to enter the political field.

In September, he teased a potential presidential race In Ireland, qualifying as a “only logical choice”.

“As president, I hold the power to invoke Dáil and dissolve it,” he wrote in an article on X, in reference to a branch of the Irish Legislative Assembly. “So, as I have already said, I would have all the answers that the inhabitants of Ireland were looking for these thieves of the working man, these disruptors of the family unit, these destructive small businesses, and so on!”
