The birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PSL) will be observed today (Saturday) with great religious zeal and a bow across the country, including Karachi.
The mosques, the streets, the buildings and the intersections throughout the city were beautifully decorated with colorful bursts, green flags and images of the green dome of the Masjid-E-Nabvi.
In particular the region of the old town with steep communities in the traditional celebration of the event, the air resonates with Durood-O-Salaam. People compete in decoration and houses. The free distribution of food and drinks (Sherbet) will be widespread around Burns Road, Ma Jinnah Road, Karadar, Lyari, Liaquatabad and other areas of this type.

People will deliver Briyani, Qorma with Naan, to neighbors. Milad’s meetings in the districts of Old City will see girls and women reveal themselves in their best to recite the Na’ats in speakers.
The highest point of the day remains the main rally. People express a devotion to the Holy Prophet (PSL) in their own style. Some will ride on horseback and camels wearing Arab dresses, while a flood of young girls in fairy dresses reciting NA’at will also be a leading characteristic.

According to a police spokesperson, 1,882 staff will be stationed in the southern area, 811 in East, 449 at the Nishtar Park and 553 at the city’s entry points.
The police chief asked that all procession routes should remain under strict vigilance, the traffic police guaranteeing a smooth flow of vehicles. The security agreements will also be monitored by monitoring video surveillance.
Through Karachi, religious rallies, Na`at recitals, Seerat-Un-Nabi conferences and processions will be organized. The celebrations will start early in the morning with collective prayers, the recitation of greetings on the Prophet (PSL) and the supplications for peace and prosperity.
According to Allama Syed Shah Abdul Haq Qadri, a bit of Jamaat Ahl-E-Sunnat Karachi, the central procession will be released from the new Memon mosque in Bolton Market after the Zuhr prayers. The procession, led by scholars and spiritual leaders, will culminate in the Nishtar park, where a large “Milad-E-Mustafa conference” will be approached by eminent religious personalities. The arrangements will be managed by volunteers and scouts of Jamaat Ahl-E-Sunnat.
Allama Shah Abdul Haq called on participants to cooperate fully with volunteers and law enforcement officials, to join the calendar, to use designated entry points on my Jinnah Road and to quickly report any article or suspicious person to the authorities.

Camps have also been set up along my Jinnah Road and other central locations by Jamaat Ahl-E-Sunnat, Tehreek Sunni, Tehreek-E-Labbaik and other religious organizations to facilitate participants in processions and gatherings.
Throughout the city, food and offers will be distributed, while mosques will organize night rallies for Na`at, Milad, Qasida Burda Sharif and collective recitation sessions by Durood Shareef.
Strict safety measures have been set up for the central procession and related events.
