Islamabad:
The head of Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that even if the nation would be united in the event of a conflict with India, the same unit cannot be expected if tensions intensified with Afghanistan, adding that “it is something that must be understood”.
He made these remarks while approaching the conference “Solidarity with Palestine and homage to the Shaheed Maulana Hamidul Haq conference. Fazl stressed the importance of unity and the need for continuity in the struggles led by religious and political movements.
By targeting the ruling elite, Fazl said that during the colonial times, the current political class was stingy with the British. “Those who were faithful to the British were rewarded by states and privileges-and they continue to take advantage of these advantages to date,” he added.
The Chief Jui-F pointed out what he called the “fragmentation” of the Muslim world, noting that a “divided body” cannot defend itself. “We are faced with multidimensional crises. Afghanistan endured 20 years of war before reaching victory, and just like its” injuries were fresh “, the question of Palestine broke out.”
By establishing parallels between the global treatment of Taliban and Hamas, he said that the two have been qualified as terrorist organizations. “The conflict started on Oct 7.
He also recalled his visit to express his solidarity following the martyrdom of the head of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh and stressed the importance of Muslim unity.
