United States, China congratulates Pakistan for independence day

While Pakistan marks its day of independence today, the United States and China have extended the messages of congratulations, with links from Islamabad-Washington showing a renewed diplomatic and economic momentum.

The American Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, went to X to congratulate the people of Pakistan and expressed their appreciation for Islamabad’s commitment to the fight against terrorism and to trade.

He reiterated the intention of US President Donald Trump to explore “new areas of economic cooperation in minerals and critical hydrocarbons” between the two countries.

“We are impatient to explore new areas of economic cooperation, including minerals and critical hydrocarbons, and to promote dynamic commercial partnerships that will promote a prosperous future for Americans and Pakistanis,” said Rubio.

His remarks come in the middle of the improvement ties between Islamabad and Washington.

On August 11, the United States appointed the Balutchistan Liberation Army (Bla) and its alias, the major brigade, as foreign terrorist organizations.

This decision coincided with the second visit to the Pakistani army, Marshal Asim Munnir in the United States.

Pakistan has long accused the Bla to receive external support and to carry out attacks inside the country.

The United States has also undertaken to invest in the Pakistan energy and mineral sectors following a trade agreement which includes support for the development of the oil reserve and tariff reductions.

The two parties recently organized an anti -terrorist dialogue in Islamabad.

Russia

The Russian Embassy in Islamabad also congratulated Pakistan for its 78th day of independence, praising the country’s progress since its creation in 1947.

In an article on X, the embassy said that the inhabitants of Pakistan “can rightly be proud of their country” and wishes to “succeed, prosperity and well-being” to its citizens, ending with greeting, “youm-e-azadi Moubarak”.

Beijing

The Pakistan Embassy in Beijing organized a ceremony to hoist dignineous to commemorate the day of independence.

The event also celebrated the historic victory of Marka-E-Haq during the Bunyanum-Marsoos operation.

The ceremony began with the hiing of the national flag by the deputy chief of the Bilal Mahmood Chaudhary mission.

Messages of congratulations from the President, the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan were read on this occasion.

The European Union delegation in Pakistan said that the EU ambassador Riina Kionka expressed sincere wishes to the country on the 78th day of independence, adding: “Together, we celebrate friendship and unity, because we are stronger together.”

United Arab Emirates

The Minister of the United Arab Emirates of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, as well as the Pakistan ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, attended a rally to celebrate the independence of Pakistan at the Dubai Exhibition Center at Expo City Dubai.

The event, organized by the social platform “Emirates Love Pakistan”, attracted more than sixty thousand participants, including diplomats, government officials, business leaders and members of the Pakistani community of water.

In his speech, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan congratulated the Pakistani people and underlined the deeply rooted friendship between water and Pakistan, based on shared values, mutual respect and a collective vision of peace and prosperity.
