University basketball: Clemson is locked from the changing rooms at half-time of the ACC semi-final

Clemson barely missed a trip to the match for the title AC Friday evening, and they could have a place to point their finger.

The Tigers followed Louisville, ranked 10th and 13th, respectively, 33-28 at halftime Friday in Charlotte, and the two teams headed for the locker room.

There was just one problem, however: the locker room of Clemson would not open.

The players were locked up for several minutes, and head coach Brad Browne had to address his team of the Spectrum Center rooms.

Brownell said that nothing had ever happened “at this level”.

“It’s disappointing, of course,” he added.

An ACC spokesman said he was not clear how the door, who locks from the inside, found himself locked. The conference displays a security guard outside all the locker room for each match, and it had never been reported there before.

The ACC added two minutes at halftime, but it seemed obvious that Clemson was at least a little agitated to start the second half. They finally lagged behind at 15 after taking more than six minutes aimlessly on the ground.

The tigers finally gained momentum and reduced the two -to -two advance with a furious rally and had the chance to take the lead after Louisville was called for a violation of the chronometer.

But James Scott blocked Hunter’s reader after turning off his man, Chucky Hepburn made one of the two free throws with six seconds to make a three -point game, and Chase Hunter leaned in three points of 25 feet in the buzzer.

Terrence Edwards scored 21 points, I.Vonne Hadley added 20 points and nine rebounds for the cardinals. They will have to go against Duke, which has grinned by a longtime rival of the UNC in the semi-finals without Cooper Flagg in order to obtain their first conference title.
