New figures said that American PC shipments have dropped in the second quarter of 2025 while the market worked thanks to actions built earlier in the year.

Canalys declared shipments (excluding tablets) to 18.6 million units, which is down 1.4% compared to the previous year.

The slowdown was widely expected and came while suppliers have erased the inventory they had accumulated to avoid potential exposure on prices – and although the quarter has seen disorderly demand, the commercial sector increased by 4%, compensating for a mild consumption segment.
