As we pointed out last year, the first season of Citadel Has struggled to obtain a 50%rotten tomato rating. He is currently seated 51% quite sad, but his spin-offs Citadel: Diana And Citadel: Honey Bunny are much higher, with 82% and 75% respectively.
So, of course, Prime Video put the two spin-offs after a single season each.
The reason is quite simple: criticisms were often classified: “as generic as they come”; “Style on the substance”; “What you will get if a child was trying to draw an action blockbuster from memory”; “If frustrating with low effort, it is honestly a kind of offensive”), but many, many people have disseminated it anyway.

With a narration with high issues, new additions to our incredible cast and our bold cinematic ambition, the new season will deepen the emotional trips of Nadia, Mason and Ourlick against the incessant force that is Manticore. “”
He also shared a first date, or at least a first window: T2 of 2026.
The writing was on the wall for the spin-offs because, as Deadline reports, they “were not global eruptions”. The two shows “have been waiting for a word on their fate since the launch of their first seasons in September and December, respectively.”
It also means the end of what I slightly described sarcastically as a Citadel The cinematic universe of several connected shows takes place in different countries. This is the unique show now, and I hope it will increase its game for season 2.
