After the United States and Israel attacked Iran, a video circulating online, which has been viewed tens of thousands of times, purports to show the President of the United States saying that Pakistan threatened to join the war and strike Israel.
The statement is false. The Trump music video was created using artificial intelligence (AI).
Claim
On March 3, a user shared a 51-second video clip in which Trump could be heard saying: “Pakistan warned Israel and the United States, because Israel falsely stated that Pakistan was number two after Iran. Pakistan is on full alert with its air, land and sea forces.”
He is also heard saying that Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif warned that if Israel attacked Iran again, Pakistan would destroy Israel.
“But here’s what I’m saying: Pakistan shouldn’t do this,” Trump reportedly added in the video. “Pakistan has no problem with us; its army is already on alert. In my opinion, Pakistan should not get involved. This is war between Israel and Iran. We need peace in the region.”
At the time of writing, the post had been viewed 77,900 times, liked 1,700 times and shared 604 times.
Similar claims were also shared on Facebook, Topics and Instagram.
Do
The viral video was generated using publicly available AI tools. Donald Trump has not made such remarks about Pakistan recently.
Geography Fact Check performed a reverse image search of key frames from the video and traced the actual footage back to May 30, 2025, when Trump held a press conference with American businessman Elon Musk at the White House, well before the United States launched a war with Iran this year.
The original footage is available on the official White House YouTube channel. During the 52-minute press conference, Donald Trump never mentions the Pakistani defense minister. The only reference to Pakistan appears at 1 p.m., when Trump thanks Indian and Pakistani officials for ending their armed conflict in May.
Additionally, Hive Moderation, an AI content detection platform, analyzed the viral clip and gave it a score of 95.4%, indicating that its audio was AI-generated.
Verdict: Donald Trump has not made any remarks about Pakistan, its military or its defense minister since the United States attacked Iran on February 28.
