A video circulating on Pakistani social networks is claimed as a former recording of Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, in which she is seen sing.
The complaint is false. The woman in the images is not the old first lady.
Claim
On September 17, a user of X (formerly Twitter) published a clip in Ourdou, saying that he was showing a younger Bushra singing on a farm in the city of the garden of Lahore.
“Look at what Bushra Bibi was doing,” said legend. At the time of writing this document, the video had more than 237,000 views and had been republished more than 500 times.
Identical claims have also been shared on Facebook And elsewhere on X.
Do
The images do not present the old First Lady. He was initially recorded by an influencer of social media, whose face was then modified with tools of artificial intelligence (AI) to make believe that it was Bushra or someone who looks like him.
The unpublished clip was first downloaded from Tiktok July 28 by a user named Aiza Shah. The manipulated version replaced Shah’s face to spread the false affirmation.
Anees Qureshi, open-source intelligence analyst at bytes for all (B4A) in Islamabad, examined video with several Deepfake detection tools. The results varied, with certain tools showing a probability of 27.8% of manipulation of the AI, while others evaluated it up to 98.7%.
Verdict: The video does not show Bushra Bibi. He is a clip manipulated by an influencer in social media.
