The Toronto Blue Jays and Star’s first goal player Vladimir Guerrero Jr. did not accept a long -term contract extension on Monday.
Guerrero, 25, established a deadline on Monday evening for the two parties to reach an agreement on an agreement, because the first base player of the star does not plan to negotiate an agreement during the season.

“The last two days, the front office, my lawyers, my agents, they met, both (sides) have tried, but obviously, we were unable to obtain an agreement,” said Guerrero via of an interpreter at Blue Jays Camp Tuesday.
“We never got to the point where I felt like I wanted to do the trick.”
The director general of Blue Jays, Ross Atkins, said that despite no completed transaction, the team still wanted Guerrero’s return.

“We have worked very hard and the motivation is still there,” said Atkins.
“I am convinced that each thought, idea that we had – every dollar that we had – was communicated. But we are obviously disappointed not to have done it. … This does not change our desire. We will certainly be motivated And stay motivated. “
Guerrero comes out of a stellar season, when he struck 0.323 with 30 circuits and 103 points produced in 159 games.
