A man from the state of Washington faces accusations of assault after being accused of having pushed two adolescent referees during the hockey match of his son, who was captured on video by security cameras.
Uriel Isaac Cortes Gonzalez, 42, faces two chefs of assault for crime after the police said they attacked two referees, both under the age of 15, in an incident “not caused” in a match of Hockey for young people on Sunday.
According to the judicial archives, the officials of the Seattle Police Service received information reporting a “Furie Parent Kraken Community Icelex Sunday just before noon.

The appellant told a distributor that the man left before the end of the match, but he was then located by the police at a traffic light near the complex.
Gonzalez told the police that he had seen his son assaulted by another player from the opposing team during the match, according to arrest records. He alleged that his son had been “hit and kicked for thirty seconds, and the referees did nothing to stop the assault”.
He said he had walked to the ice to break the fight and pushed a referee to go to his son. He also said he was not aware that the game officials were minors.

The police examined the incident, which was captured by the security cameras of the complex, and found that the version of the Gonzalez incident was not supported by video evidence.
According to the arrest report, there was no fight at the time of the alleged assault. The referees, 13 and 14, told the police that they had already broken a fight and went to the box where officials were seated to document it. At that time, video sequences show that Gonzalez approaches them both from behind and pushing them to the ground.
“There was no fight at the time and the match was arrested,” said police files, adding that “the assault seemed not caused”.

The two victims did not seem to have serious injuries and were treated on the spot. Police arrested Gonzalez and he was charged on Tuesday of two charges of Assault of crime.
The Kraken published a statement in response to the incident saying that Gonzalez had been prohibited from the skating rink.
