The iPhone 17 series is fast approaching – we expect complete revelations for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max at the “Awe Droping” event on September 9.
In the midst of the last -minute rumors, a noticeable prediction and leak have shared images that covenly show a new cross -strap accessory for the next Apple technical cases for the iPhone 17 family.
The fame of Sonny Dickson technology shared the images in an X article, which shows a strap woven in bright orange. Catchy, of course, but not exactly exciting in itself. Indeed, we have no way of verifying Dickson’s assertion that it is a real Apple product.
However, if we look at the previous rumors on the cases of technologies mentioned, things are starting to reconstruct. In August 2025, his colleague Leaker Majin BU shared an image that is supposedly showing two cases in Apple Tech box for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. At the back of one of the boxes, compatibility with a “strap strap” is mentioned – which could be the bright orange cord illustrated in the post of Sonny Dickson.
The ends of the strap strap seem to have a kind of elastic fabric or loop, which could bind around the areas at the bottom of the technological case highlighted in a diagram shown in the images that Made-Bu has shared. It seems likely that other colors would be produced alongside Orange, but it is not yet confirmed.
Wear your iPhone
Apparently, the crossbody box combination and technical boxes could allow iPhone users to carry the free hands on their phone – which, in all justice, would require a certain certainty in the strength of the strap and the case. This is not a new concept (case manufacturers like Catetify offer similar cases), but it would be Apple’s first attempt to such a product, so some insurance would be good.
However, I’m not sure you would catch me for walking with a phone of $ 999 / £ 999 / $ 1,849 on the fabric. I am sure that Apple would have tested the two products before I even consider going to the market, but I would always be concerned about thieves who spot my new iPhone.
The cross strap also evokes the camera straps, which seems to adapt to the iPhone trajectory to photography – there are various camera upgrades that rush for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, and there is a very high probability of the capacitive camera control, which is models of this year. For everyday user needs, the cross strap could make the iPhone a viable replacement for a pointed camera.
