Samsung has already had a busy year, with the launch of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, as well as the revelation of the brand new Galaxy S25 EDGE. This did not prevent Samsung fans and channels from speculating on the upcoming outings of the Korean technology giant, in particular, in particular through the Samsung folding phones portfolio.
However, a new rumor suggests that the most accessible foldable in Samsung will not receive much overhaul this year – at least not in terms of design.
The unofficial renderings that censively show the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, based on what seems to be initiate information, were shared by Onleaks and Android Les Big titles.
You would be forgiven to think that these rendering show the current Galaxy Z Flip 6, because there is almost no visual difference between the supposed Galaxy Z Flip 7 and its predecessor – the rendering even borrows the current blue color set.
Like the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 rendered with a large folding interior screen and a cover screen that contributes to allow space for a double -camera system aligned horizontally. Renderings have colored camera rings, rather than the widened black camera boxes used by the Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The Android titles suggest that the two screens will be slightly enlarged, 3.6 inch for the cover screen and 6.8 inch for the interior display compared to 3.4 inch and 6.7 inches on the current generation Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The buttons seem to be exactly the same as on the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and as usual, the lower rear panel is a united color. We cannot say a lot about the construction of the telephone of rendering alone, but if the phones are as materially similar as they are aesthetically, we are probably looking at an aluminum frame, a glass cover screen and an interior plastic display.
There is not much to explain where these renderings come from – it could simply mean that the source has chosen to remain anonymous, but it also means that we cannot give as much weight to this rumor as we could with more context.
However, Samsung producing a Galaxy Z Flip 7 which largely shares the design of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 seems to be a realistic possibility; After all, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 effectively inherited the design of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
And even with a similar design with enough improvements to software, internal specifications, cameras or overall user experience, nothing will stop the Galaxy Z Flip 7 to find a place on our lists of the best Samsung phones or the best folding phones.
