- The software that seems to be for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been spotted
- The foldable could be launched in July
- Expect a thinner body and better cameras
We expect the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 to make an appearance in the coming months (although Samsung has said nothing officially on this subject), and we just had another clue on the existence of this foldable Book style.
According to Tipster @ Tarunvast33 (via 9TO5google), a new version of a user interface 7 appeared on the Samsung servers – and it seems to be specifically for a new device with a model number that aligns with the numbers used for previous Samsung foldable.
It is not the most complete leak, but we will take it. An IU 7 is the taking of Samsung on Android 15 and is already available on the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones, and it should be deployed on older Galaxy handsets for too long.
Given that the current PLU Z model launched in July 2024 – See our review Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 for more details – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 should land in July 2025, most likely alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 (and Maybe a tri- bend the model too).
What we think we know so far
Exclusive‼ ️ Galaxy Z Fold7: the first construction of user interface test identified on the server today! Construction version: F966USqu0ayB3 / F966UYN0AYB3 / F966USQU0AYB3 It can be a UI 7.0.1, as the first rumors say. pic.twitter.com/5uoludhq55February 19, 2025
We have already heard a lot of the rumor of the rumor mill with regard to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, but do not get started, because it seems that the next edition of the foldable may not increase the internal specifications too much.
On the positive side, a better battery life is something that we have talked about. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 have both been placed to come with more effective screens, which should mean longer times between recharges.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 also seems to be online for an upgrade of the camera, borrowing from the special edition Galaxy Z Fold which is only available in Asia: in particular, the main camera 200Mp is directed to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
There have also been indications that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be considerably thinner than the Plis Z which preceded it – although it is unlikely to beat the thinnest foldable to date, the Oppo Find N5, which is only 4.21 mm before up to 4.21 mm at the time which was unfolded.
