Karachi: A coupe human arm found from a wall of a residential apartment in Gulshan-E-IQBal Block 19 was identified as belonging to Abdul Basit, which tragically lost their life in a traffic accident on Sharea Faisal near the nursery one day earlier.
According to police sources, the fatal accident took place on Saturday evening. During the collision, the Bastwriter was cut off from his body and disappeared from the scene.
The surveys suggest that the member remained stuck in the vehicle involved in the accident, and the driver, instead of stopping, fled the premises with the part of the body always housed in the vehicle.
The authorities now suspect that the driver may later throw the arm cut near the wall of a residential apartment before continuing to escape the arrest. Police launched a driver’s search.
After the discovery, the arm cut was given to the victim’s family. A case was recorded at the Ferozabad police station on the complaint of the deceased’s brother.
According to the victim’s family, Basit was the father of five children and resident of the Umar colony near Baloch Colony Bridge.
