Wednesday Season 3 officially performs, Netflix confirming the news before the next Wednesday First season 2 on August 6.
The news was confirmed Wednesday (of course), on July 23, when Netflix shared a new poster featured the iconic unscatched hand, alias, holding a crystal ball with number 3 on it.
The slogan indicates that “bad things come in three”, focusing on the trend of the Addams family to focus on the macabre and fortunately not the quality of the series. This is one of our best Netflix shows for a reason after all.
Speaking on the renewal, the co-creator and the co-showrunner Alfred Gough said in a press release: “Our goal for season 3 is the same as for each season: to make it the best season of WednesdayWe can. We want to continue to deepen our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday.“”
What’s going on on Netflix Wednesday?
At the moment, it feels like the world is the oyster on Wednesday, as Wednesday Season 2 promises to be greater and better than the first episode. I really enjoyed the first season and I can’t wait to see the news.
Season 2 will focus on the wider family, at the horror of Wednesday, with the creator Tim Burton teasing in Tudum: “This year, we bring the family to Nevermore. Your family at school is the worst possible thing, right?”
We should expect to see an expansion of tradition by focusing on the two academies, the Parias school until Wednesday, as well as to meet other members of the morbid family.
After the departure of Gwendoline Christie in season 1, legendary actor Steve Buscemi enters the role of the director of Nevermore, while the British icon Joanna Lumley plays the grandmother on Wednesday. There is therefore an expansion of the distribution already brilliant this season, as we can see in this overview which teases the Bucketloads of Addams Family Lore.
As for season 3, we will have to wait and see where the story is going, but I am convinced that it will force force. With a lot of traditions from the family of dark and comical Addams to dive, I could very happily look at many more seasons.
The new season is divided into two parts this time, reflecting popular shows like Stranger Things Season 5. The second part of Wednesday Season 2 is released on September 3, so there is not too much waiting.
