Will Titan X be Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2’s version of Biollante?
This season’s opening teaser may have teased Titan X’s appearance in the Monsterverse. It was Monarch However, the official trailer for Season 2 not only indicated that he would be the main antagonist of this season, but also sparked a major fan theory that Titan X would ultimately be revealed as Biollante.

This fusion resulted in the birth of a mutated, sentient rose that evolves into the gigantic monster known as Biollante.
It would be remiss of me to point out that there is no guarantee that Titan East the Monsterverse version of Biollante. On the one hand, Biollante has never shown the ability to swim in previous Godzilla films, but Titan X seems to be a natural in aquatic environments.
Additionally, Titan X doesn’t bear much resemblance to Biollante’s design in his big screen appearances. Okay, the couple has giant horns and tendrils to thrash around on, but those are the only commonalities they seem to share.
That said, some viewers are still convinced that Titan X is the Monsterverse version of Biollante. Indeed, Reddit threads on r/monsterverse, r/television, and r/godzilla contain numerous comments from die-hard Zilla fans suggesting that this will be the case, especially in light of the aforementioned physical characteristics.
Others are not as convinced and have pointed to other, more suitable oceanic kaiju, like Gezora, as more likely candidates. A titan like Gezora would also make more sense when taking into account the giant squid-like cave paintings that Keiko, Bill, and Lee encounter during one of their monster-hunting adventures as part of this season’s storyline set in the 1950s.
There is reason to believe, however, that Titan X and Biollante are one and the same. And, while there are a lot of questions about Titan X: “where did he come from in the Monsterverse?” “, “why was he trapped in Axis Mundi? and “why do some people love it?” » to name just three – the prospect of it being Biollante means we could be close to reaching a deal Godzilla x Kong: Supernovais the bad guy.
