- South Park Season 28 Episode 2 Now Delayed Until October 31
- The episode was originally scheduled to air on October 29 but was moved to Halloween.
- Other episodes are planned for November 12, 26 and December 10
Raise your hand if you’re surprised South Park episode 2 of season 28 has been delayed again! If you have eagle eyes, your hands should remain firmly down.
“Thank you to Comedy Central and South Park fans for their great understanding. See you next week!”
But it turns out there’s been another delay for Episode 2 since that statement was released. If you’re not too tired of keeping up with all the changes, here’s what you actually need to know about the next one South Park episode release date.
What is the launch time for South Park season 28 episode 2?

Unusually for the show, South Park Season 28, Episode 2 will now air on October 31 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT on Comedy Central. This means the episode will then be available to stream on Paramount+ on November 1 at 6 a.m. ET/5 a.m. CT.
Luckily, this will be the only episode airing on a Friday, simply because episode 2 will be a Halloween special. Comedy Central will air reruns on October 29 in the usual spot on the episode schedule, which includes last week’s Season 28 premiere (surprise, we swapped seasons after five episodes).
For international fans, this is when you can expect Season 28 Episode 2 to air:
- WE – 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET
- Canada – 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET
- UNITED KINGDOM – 2 a.m. GMT
- India – 7:30 a.m. IST
- Singapore – 10:00 GMT
- Australia – 12:00 AEST
- New Zealand – 3:00 p.m. NZST
When are the new episodes of South Park season 28 released?

Fortunately, South Park has already told us exactly when we can expect the rest of season 28 to air, with new episodes arriving on November 12, November 26, and December 10. How much we should trust the X/Twitter post above, I’m not too sure, given that the October 29th release date changed at the last minute.
What we can count on, however, is that the comedy will continue to air once every two weeks.
The existing two-week delay in the Season 27 schedule began with the Season 27 premiere having an unexpected delay, which carried over to Episode 2, with episodes airing every two weeks from then on.
The creators ultimately confirmed that they needed more time to prepare the episodes for fans, explaining, “So much is happening right now in one day with Trump. No one is going to sacrifice to get it right, even if we have to push the airing, and if that makes the season longer, so be it.”
