The question of slow internet speed in Pakistan was addressed in the National Assembly, where the parliamentary secretary for information technologies gave clarification on the issue.
During the session presided over by Vice-President Ghumlam Mustafa, members of the Assembly raised concerns about the slow internet service in the country. The discussion took place during questions, highlighting the growing frustrations of users.
Responding to the concerns, the parliamentary secretary of IT Sabheen Ghoury assured at home that the Internet speed would improve in the middle of the year. She also announced that the launch of 5G services was also planned for the same period.
She explained that several factors contribute to the slowdown in internet connectivity in the country. However, efforts are underway to solve these problems and improve the global digital infrastructure.
