The organization of classification of renowned global passports, Nomad Capitalist, has published its list of the most powerful passports in the world.
According to the report, Ireland obtained first place, claiming the title of the country with the most powerful passport in the world.
This annual classification takes into account not only travel installations without visa, but also five key factors: freedom of travel without visa or on the visa on arrival, tax policies for citizens, double citizenship allowance, personal and social freedoms.
Based on its balanced performance on all these factors, Ireland has marked a total of 109 points, guaranteeing the higher position. Irish citizens can travel to 176 countries without a visa.
Greece and Switzerland have contained second place jointly with 108 points, while Portugal arrived third. Luxembourg ranked fourth and Finland and Norway shared fifth place.
The United Arab Emirates, New Zealand and Iceland have reached the tenth position in the ranking. Japan and Singapore have slightly delayed, largely due to restrictions on double citizenship and higher tax policies in these countries.
