Karachi experienced an unexpected misty spell in various regions late at night, notably Saddar, II Chundrigar Road and the old city region.
The fog persisted all night but dissipated with the morning sunlight.
Meteorological analysts attribute the phenomenon to high humidity levels and stagnant winds, which caused reduced visibility early in the morning.
The fog was particularly dense near the airport, where visibility was reduced to around 2.5 to 3 kilometers. However, as the sun rose, the fog cleared and the visibility has improved.
