Carson Brantine was already a favorite of fans before she went into the first round of Wimbledon against the best classified female tennis player in the world, Aryna Sabalenka.
Brantine, Canada, played Texas A&M and helped the Aggies in a national championship before becoming a professional. She was able to make the final slice for Wimbledon after having torn the qualifying towers, beating an open US open bianca Andreescu champion, Raluca Georgiana Serban and Boisson Lois.

However, what caught the attention of social media before the match against Sabalenka was his model status. Brantine is signed with Wilhelmina models and the Neal Hamil agency.
She spoke of funding her tennis dreams thanks to modeling in an interview with journalists in front of Wimbledon earlier this month.

“I love being in front of the camera during a shoot. It’s fun, I love fashion. This is one of the reasons why I could pay some of my trips. I didn’t want to ask my parents anything-I wanted everything to come from me and my tennis,” she said, via clay.
“I was not signed by these agencies because of my tennis – it was for my look. Modeling and tennis are strangely similar – you are a lot of an object, and people sometimes forget that you are a person too.”
While Brantine fell to Sabalenka in two sets, she gave the Bélarusan a race for her money in the second set, losing 7-5.

She was classified n ° 194 in the world before hitting herself in Sabalenka. She won 136 victories in her career and seven titles in the international events of the Tennis Federation.
