Ben Shelton served the Wimbledon championships for the match on Thursday, but he had to wait until the next day to do so.
This is because his fight in the second round against Rinky Hijikata was suspended due to the darkness.
Shelton led, 6-2, 7-5, 5-4, when the match was called, and it was clearly not happy-the game was suspended at 9:29 p.m., and the two players had made arguments to suspend the game earlier in the match.

Shelton approached the referee and had to be retained by another civil servant to calm him down.
Well, Shelton and Hijikata returned to the court early Friday morning to finish the match – and it took a minute to do it, while Shelton went to the third round.

“I had not been broken the whole match. I have not broken since my first set during my first round, and I felt confident by coming here to have a service game to finish it.”
Shelton said he was not sure of his plans for the day, asking if he had to train, given that Friday was initially planned to be a day off for the world classified in the world.
“It’s different. I warned for 30 minutes, then I spent a minute on the field. Much more time was spent in the preparation than the real match,” he said.

Shelton will face Marton Focsovics from Hungary in the third round on Saturday. His best finish in Wimbledon lasted in the fourth round last year-he made the semi-finals of the Australian and the United States.
