- Dell laptop at $ 250 bats its own entry -level office and rivals more expensive models
- The cheapest DEL desktop lack of windows, while the following options start at $ 599.99
- Unless half of the price, the Dell laptop offers a complete PC experience with modern specifications
Office computers were previously the default value for affordable IT, offering more power, easier upgrades and better value.
The components can be exchanged, the memory have increased and the parts repaired if necessary – which is much more difficult to do with laptops, which generally have elements such as united memory in place.
But if you are on the market for a low-budget PC, you may not want to consider an office case, Dell now offers a 15-inch laptop for only $ 250.
Much cheaper than an office
The DELL 15 laptop is currently $ 130 cheaper than its usual price of $ 379.99. It is almost half the price of the cheapest office in Dell, the slim customer Optiplex 3000 of $ 439. It’s not just a question of cost either.
The laptop default configuration is delivered with Windows 11 Home, an AMD Ryzen 3 7320U processor, 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory and an SSD of 512 GB. It also includes a Full HD 120Hz screen of 15.6 inch, Wi-Fi and ports for basic connectivity, including a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. USB 2.0 port and universal audio socket.
The Optiplex office does not perform windows, but rather uses Dell thin, only has 64 GB of storage on board and completely lacks Wi-Fi.
It is intended for narrow commercial environments, and not for general use, therefore for the average buyer, it is difficult to recommend unless they are locked in a specific configuration.
Looking beyond that, the next desktop computers ready for Dell Windows start at $ 599.99. The DELL Slim office includes an ultra 5, 16 GB DDR5 memory processor and a 512 GB SSD. It offers more energy but also costs more than twice as much than the laptop.
The Dell Tower office at $ 749.99 increases things with a basic Ultra 7 chip, 32 GB of RAM and an SSD of 1 TB. But again, it is the price of the price.
For most users, especially students, small businesses or occasional users, these upgrades may not be necessary anyway.
The DELL 15 laptop of $ 250 offers a complete experience that covers everything, from web navigation to light productivity.
Office computers always make sense to users who need maximum expansion or performance of course, but on the low -end, the gap is quickly. In some cases, it can already disappear.
