WNBA threatens criminal charges on sex toy incidents at games

The WNBA published on Friday a statement concerning the recent wave of fans launching sex toys on short during the matches.

The declaration said that the League is working with federal police to pursue criminal proceedings against the culprits involved in incidents.

“The security of all in our arenas remains an absolute priority. We are working in close collaboration with local and federal police to pursue all appropriate actions – including arrest and prosecution with crime accusations if necessary – against any person committed in this conduct or otherwise involved in the sponsorship of this imprudent and unacceptable behavior”, said the press release.

The fourth incident of a sex toy thrown on a WNBA field occurred during the match on Thursday evening between the Dream of the sky of Chicago and Atlanta.

A man in Georgia was also arrested after the first incident in Atlanta and was charged with disorderly driving, criminal intrusion, public indecency and indecent exposure.
