Chinese swimmer Yu Zidi made his debut at the Aquatics World Championships in Singapore on Sunday when she participated in the 200 meters of individual mix. She is only 12 years old.

The World Aquatics Cup age is 14, but the youngest swimmers are allowed to compete if their time exceeds a qualification standard. Yu almost made the Chinese Olympic team for the 2024 Paris Games, but was a few seconds.
