World military games that arrive in 2027

First on Fox: The 2027 military world matches will be played in Charlotte, North Carolina, marking the first time that the event was organized in the United States.

The last matches of the military world took place in Wuhan, China, in October 2019, only a few months before the Pandemic Covid-19 had fun of this same city, putting the event on the ice for what will be an eight-year interruption.

When the Games returned in 2027, it will occur in the middle of two major international sporting events which should also play in the United States – the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

President Donald Trump will chair each of the events, and although he played a role in bringing him the World Cup and the Olympic Games in America during his first mandate, he has his defense secretary Pete Hegseth for having given the approval of the world military games for North Carolina, according to the co -president of the Eli Bremer event.

Bremer told PK Press Club Digital that Hegseth had given final approval for the United States to host the Games.

“His vision of the American army, creating warriors, aligns so precisely with the American soldiers engaging in the sports elite,” said Bremer. “I think it aligns extremely well with the new army leadership. I think it is a great opportunity for the American army to attract incredible talents that align themselves with the direction of Secretary Hegseth and throughout the Trump administration.”

Bremer, a major in the command of the Air Force reserve and the former modern pentathlete which participated in the 2008 Olympic Games, recalled his experience in competition with athletes from some of the notable military opponents of America in the world’s previous military games, and thinks that the 2027 event can help to oppose mutually humanization in the middle of geopolitical tensions.

“As a young Air Force officer, I had contacts with the Iranians and the North Koreans who were at these sporting events, so it gave Americans a chance to make contact with other countries and show them that we are real people,” said Bremer.

The Games are organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM) the second largest multidiscipline sports organization in the world, after the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

CISM President Nilton Romil, Brazil, told PK Press Club Digital that there were obstacles to bring him games in the United States, but the committee had crossed a “competitive” process to do so in America, citing the symbolic importance of world peacekeeping.

“The obstacles included the complexity of the organization of an international event also on a large scale for the first time on American soil. Safety navigation, diplomatic protocols and the guarantee of CISM standards were essential.

“The importance is historic. The Western allies have long been active members of the CISM, and the United States has supported the mission from the start. Now, the accommodation of games on American soil extends a clear message: the West is attached to peace and world unity, not only by strategic alliances, but through shared human values.

“By organizing games, the United States demonstrates leadership in promoting Pacific International Military Commitment beyond Defense Cooperation: athletics, cultural exchange and global solidarity.”

Three of the last four MWGs were organized in the Nations of Brics, with China welcoming in 2019, Brazil welcoming in 2011 and the organization of India in 2007.

For many Americans who are both veterans and former athletes, the 2027 games will mark a proud display.

Former American Olympian Chad Senior, who participated in the 2004 and 2000 Olympic Games in Modern Pentathlon, and served in the war in Iraq and the Afghanistan War as a veteran of the army special forces, told PK Press Club Digital that the Games will be at an important time because he sees the military in the United States to become more “supporter”.

“Politicians in this administration change, and I don’t think people are in the middle, they are solidly against it or kiss it solidly,” said senior.

“Will it change the minds of people? I don’t know. I think that is why they have these world military games. Whenever the various militarys can meet in a friendly environment of sports against the battlefield, I think it is a positive thing for all of us.”

Former American Senator of Colorado Ben Nightthoors Campbell, who participated in the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games and served in the Air Force, celebrated Charlotte’s selection for the next MWG.

“I have been delighted to learn that the world’s military games arrive in the United States. As the one that served our country in the Air Force during the Korean War and represented our country on judo carpets at the 1964 Olympic Games, I think there is a direct correlation between discipline and dedication to be an elite athlete or a member of an elite combat force and competition higher performance levels, “Campbell told PK Press Club.
