Wrestlemania 41: Cody Rhodes speaks John Cena Theel Turn

Cody Rhodes and John Cena will meet at Wrestlemania 41 with the undisputed WWE championship and the eyes of the world of professional struggle while looking very carefully.

Cena won the match for male elimination, then aligned with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to become the antagonist of this story with Rhodes. Cena de Rhodes’ cheap plan launched the quest for the Massachusetts native for a 17th record world title.

For years, Cena is the face of a beloved baby of WWE. He cultivated a large fans base with the younger public and never once at the height of his career, he turned the other plays. There were certainly moments when the fans huated and ridiculed him, but his character has always been that of “agitation, loyalty and respect”.

But his heel turn presented a brand new scenario in what is supposed to be his last year in professional struggle. Rhodes told PK Press Club Digital before the last episode of “Monday Night Raw” in London that he has the impression that he is competing against Cena for the first time.

“I look at a lot of things now, like John and my match at Wrestlemania 41. I’m really looking at him as if it was the first time,” said Rhodes. “John was someone who entered and, not immediately, but he found his foot quickly in terms of who John Cena was going to be, and he agitated this flag and wore his mark very firmly, very disciplined for as long as he helped shoot the WWE for a period of transition as well. The level, otherwise he was going to intervene and leave you in the dust.”

“So, now, watching the match, that’s why I say that it looks like me for me, because at the start of my career, I hadn’t found my foot. I didn’t know who I was,” he said. “And now, especially to judge by these last interactions in the ring, I have the impression that we know who are now.

On the most recent “Monday Night Raw”, Rhodes and Cena became face to face potentially for the last time before Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas.

The two professional struggle superstars exchanged insults to start the show. But the confrontation ended with Rhodes striking his finish maneuver, Cross Rhodes, on Cena and left her extended in the middle of the ring.

Wrestlemania 41 is scheduled from April 19 to 20.
