WWE announced Wednesday that Wrestlemania 42 will be held in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year after being revealed previously that New Orleans would be the host site.
Reports on the premiere of the WWE season leaving New Orleans surfaced a few weeks ago. While speculation was creeping on social networks, WWE announced during its live event on the bank in the premium bank that Wrestlemania will be back at the Allegiant Stadium.

“Las Vegas has helped deliver the largest Wrestlemania of all time, to break records and to offer an incredible week for fans around the world,” WWE president Nick Khan said in a press release. “We are impatient to work again with the talented and effective teams of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and Allegant Stadium to bring Wrestlemania back to the capital of the world of sports and entertainment in the world.”
The CEO of Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), Steve Hill, who spoke to PK Press Club Digital earlier this year before Wrestlemania 41, also praised the return of the event.

“We are honored that WWE has again selected Las Vegas to host the biggest event in their calendar,” said Hill. “Bring Wrestlemania 42 to Las Vegas underlines the reputation of our city to raise world -class events to new heights. We are delighted to rely on the success of last year and to provide an even more incredible experience for the world of WWE in 2026.”
Wrestlemania in Las Vegas was just as busy as the Super Bowl week in the city. WWE organized events from top to bottom of Las Vegas strip, including the renowned temple ceremony, the roast of Wrestlemania and Wrestlemania after night in the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
WWE said “Monday Night Raw”, “Friday evening Smackdown” and that the WWE world will return. NXT Stand & Deliver will also take place in the city.
